the picture above is the evidence of this activity i did. this is a picture of the system to make the robot. I learn lots of things about robots. like they need gears to fit on each other to make the robot work. there were two sensor they are: light sensor and touch sensor. I wanted to program the rcx to: if he sees the a big piece of trash he caries it with a some kind of a shovel to carry out the trash and throw it out. and if it sees dust it has to have a brush to dust the dust away. i wanted my robot to have move his hands and legs only because he is a driver. the light sensor is used to sens anything in front of it it stop and takes another route.
the touch sensor works like this: if the robot is walking and if it hits something in front of it it stop and turns and takes anther route. We are going to use robo lab to program our robots. i built the sensors the will be placed on the rcx. the sensors are used if the robot hits a wall it can turn around and go another way. The first pictures were taken on Thursday. On Thursday we were building and programming the robot and rcx. We were able to almost finish all the sensors and the programing. We first took the kit from the and the catalog and started to assemble the sensor and try to put it on the rcx. we wanted to conncet the tower to the rcx.javascript:void(0) robotics arnt only about programing it is also about physics electronics.
